The special ballot request flyer mailed in April by state government to all registered Iowa voters requires you to enter personal information but doesn’t tell you how you can cover it up before you mail it.

Easy trick: Just fold up the flier so you can see the mailing address to your county auditor but can’t see your personal information.

Then tape it on three sides with clear scotch tape. The post office will likely reject the request if you use masking tape or staples, tape just one side, or cover up the barcode.
