The American Civil Liberties Union turns 100 in 2020 and now it's time to celebrate!

To mark the historic milestone, we're hosting a two-day exhibition in Des Moines on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Des Moines Social Club.

Visitors will have opportunities to participate in immersive experiences, built in and around shipping containers, on mass incarceration, immigration, and voting rights. Through these experiences, they will learn about the stories of people and communities affected by these issues. Attendees will also be able to take direct action on federal and state legislative issues connected to this work.

The Des Moines event is part of an interactive exhibition traveling across the country on a national centennial tour. The event is free and family friendly. Registration is suggested but not required.
