The 2018 Iowa Legislative Report and Civil Liberties Scorecard takes a look at how our national and state representatives and senators voted on key civil liberties issues and then scored them accordingly. It’s a useful tool for finding out where your elected officials stand on issues like free speech, government transparency, immigration, abortion, voting rights, criminal justice reform and more.

It includes an examination of key votes of Iowa state representatives and state senators, as well as Iowa's four U.S. representatives and two U.S. senators.
