There are a number of ways you can work with the ACLU of Iowa to further civil liberties in our state. Please call 515-243-3576, extension *812 or e-mail us.
GENERAL VOLUNTEERS: We need help with everything from clerical assistance and research to helping staff booths at events to writing letters to the editor. If you have a skill, we’re sure to have a need for it!
LEGAL INTERNS AND VOLUNTEERS: If you are an aspiring lawyer or law student, we have a regular series of legal internships and volunteer opportunities.
VOLUNTEER ATTORNEYS: We are always looking for lawyers around the state who are willing to take or assist with civil liberties cases or situations. We also looking for lawyers to serve on our legal advisory panel.
COMMUNICATIONS INTERNS: We also have a regular series of communications internships helping with traditional writing, marketing, and public relations efforts as well as our web site and social media.
